Genesis 3:11-12
And he said, who told thee that thou wast naked? Has thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
Christian stories of broken souls finding God and romance Jesus never promised a life of sweetness and nice; He promises hope. The weakest flame is stronger than the dark.

Clutter is not just physical stuff.
It's old ideas, toxic relationships, and bad habits.

I confess I'm less than stellar at marketing. Shocking, I know. I also try to have a sense of humor about it. For writers, Chris McMullen posted some helpful information:

Genesis 3:7-8
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

Favorite Book Friday
"The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas: I read the unabridged book the summer I lived in Yellowstone and fell in love with the story. I enjoyed the movie version with Jim Caviezel. If you're a story purist, the movie is not for you. :-) The interview with the writer, found on the DVD, was delightful. I appreciated his perspective and his sense of humor.
