The Cowgirl's Christmas Gift (Last Chance Ranch Book 1) by Deb Kastner Contemporary Christian romance. What a charming novella. I think I'll add it to my annual Christmas reading list.

Four pages left to edit. I think I'll finish it in a day or two and then I hit a snag, cutting, adding, shuffling. I'm nervous and excited. I still love the story and the characters. I hope the readers do, too.

Sunday Scripture

Ruth 2:11-12

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

Tuesday Tidbit

I spent all of last week working on one paragraph. It happens sometimes. Adding words, cutting words, shuffling words and sentences, all in an effort to make the story the best it can be. I'm also grateful for those gentle nudges from God, the ones guiding me to see the typo I missed the last thousand times I looked at the same word.

Sunday Scripture

Ruth 2:8-9

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

I've less than a chapter to go. This month, it is two years since ownership of my books was returned. I hope to finish edits, this month. Carol Fiorillo, the cover artist, will be making sure the cover fits the requirements, and I will be making sure the formatting is correct. Hopefully, the book will be available this month or July. What an adventure.
