Christian stories of broken souls finding God and romance Jesus never promised a life of sweetness and nice; He promises hope. The weakest flame is stronger than the dark.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Unseen (Guardian series) by Traci Hunter Abramson romance. The latest addition to the series was too short. Then again, I always want more of Abramson's stories.

Flight 259 (The Hope Series Book 1) by Staci Stallings contemporary Christian romance. This is the first book in a trilogy with the same hero and heroine.
A Time to Love (The Hope Series Book 2) by Staci Stallings contemporary Christian romance. This series is helping me walk through my own grief.
Some Say Love (The The Hope Series Book 3) by Staci Stallings contemporary Christian romance. Loved the story, beginning to end.
Luke 10:31-37
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

National Friends Day was July 30. I missed it. The story is still good:
Just Friends
The sixth novella in the series.
Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens, except holidays... and a little romance, if the hero and heroine trust God.
After Mindy Harper's life crashes, she cuts off her friends. What other choice does she have? She doesn't fit in anymore. Holidays commemorating friendship fail to convince her she should celebrate them. A handsome ranch hand won't change her mind.
Cowboy left most of his past behind, with no regrets. The moment he sees Mindy he knows where his future lies. Friendship is the best place to start, but what is he supposed to do when she declares they're acquaintances?
God opens closed doors to those who knock, if it's His will...

Yes, I'm still working on "A Promise of Possibilities." I keep finding typos, and ways to improve the story. In truth, I think the Lord is endeavoring to help me lose my ego. Pride is a brutal taskmaster. I want to give God the glory but notice pride sneaking in. I'm trusting God to help me know when the story and I are ready. It does feel good to work on it every day.
It took me far too long to figure out:
If your life is smooth as glass, you're doing it wrong.

I wrote this on SM, back in 2014. I just lost control of "Tarnished Knight." If you ask your characters what comes next, you can't complain when they take things into their own hands and bring in reinforcements. I look forward to re-publishing each book.
