Christian stories of broken souls finding God and romance Jesus never promised a life of sweetness and nice; He promises hope. The weakest flame is stronger than the dark.

Short Summer poem, over at Searching the Meaning of Life, and Google Translate did a good job.

Brilliant Viewpoint shows a little it takes to cheer another, even when facing one's own struggles:

It is never too late to learn self-discipline. I'm learning. Over at Real Time Love, Rotimi Elijah shared a motivating post:

Coming Soon...
Book 13 The
Blessing Basket:
-->
The thirteenth
novella in the series is here (almost)...
Welcome back
to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens, except holidays...
and a little romance, if the hero and heroine trust God.
Cici, Candy
Crothers, lies to everyone, except her Holiday Diner boss, only because he
informed her if she lied to him he'd fire her. She ran away from an ugly past
and still worries it might catch up to her. Sharing her nightmares is nowhere
on her list of things to do, ever.
Trace Brown
left the Army honorably but not unscathed. Anger controls his life, holding him
back from pretty much everything, including becoming a chef at Holiday Diner.
The diner's head hostess intrigues him, but not enough to risk sharing his
day-to-day battle with PTSD.
Nothing can
drive God away. His hand is stretched out still. He is always there, waiting...
I'm making the final checks before uploading.

Good Time Stories shares the kind of stories that used to show up in group emails. I've read this story numerous times. I enjoy it every time and endeavor to follow the example:
