Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Christian stories of broken souls finding God and romance Jesus never promised a life of sweetness and nice; He promises hope. The weakest flame is stronger than the dark.

Favorite Book Friday
"Tuesday" by David Wiesner is a picture book I read in my Children's Literature class when I went back to college. Decades later, and it's still my favorite picture book.

The reason you won't find "I'm sorry" in any of my Regency stories is because the phrase wasn't used until 1834. I use "Forgive me" or "I apologize" or something along those lines.

Labor Day
The fifth of thirteen novellas...
Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens, except holidays... and maybe a little romance, if the hero and heroine trust God.
Organic herb farmer Faith Walker regrets many things in her life, none as much as marrying a man who divorced her after their wedding night, leaving her pregnant and alone.
Horse trainer Dusty Harper crushed on Faith all his life. What is he supposed to do when she drops back into his life and turns his world upside down?
God provides unexpected answers to those who seek His will...

For Writers
There are a lot of changes occurring for indie writers who have published through CreateSpace, which I did with all three of my Holiday, USA anthologies in paperback. CreateSpace has been merged with KDP, Amazon. Chris McMullen, blessedly, has kept me up-to-date on what is happening, over on his blog:
https://chrismcmullen.com/2018/08/28/createspace-and-kdp-are-merging/
I've followed Chris for quite awhile, and he has answered many questions I didn't even know I had until he provided the answers.
For Readers, if you're interested in a peek into the publishing side of writing, Chris provides easy-to-understand explanations.
Thanks, Chris!

Well, bummer. I learned that in the Regency era the only time a man kissed a woman's hand was if she was much older, such as a dowager. If he kissed a young woman's hand, it was interpreted as a signal that a proposal was in the offing.
