Favorite Book Friday

"The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame is a favorite I read in college, my second time through. The book was one of my choices for my children's literature class. I liked it so much I bought my own copy.

Monday Quote

No, don’t tell me ‘you attract what you are.’
What if you’re kind and you attract mean?
What if you’re honest and you attract liars?
What if you’re loyal and you attract cheaters?
What if you’re God-conscious and you attract the one who is hardened with disbelief?
No, you don’t always attract what you are.
You sometimes attract people who are in desperate need of what you are.

Genesis 2:19-20

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
