Tuesday Tidbit

How do you write a story? Start with two words, a noun and a verb, and build, one word at a time.

Monday Quote

Sometimes
deciding who you are
is deciding
who you will
never be again.

Sunday Scripture

Ruth 2:8-9

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

Favorite Book Friday

The Art of Rivers (Coastal Hearts series 3) by Janet W. Ferguson Christian contemporary romance. She tackled the difficult subject of addiction. I could not put the book down. I loved Coop and Rivers. I also loved Kevin and Gabby and Davis and Priscilla and Phoenix! I hope Gabby's story is coming soon. I'll be reading the other books in the series.

Tuesday Tidbit

I've less than a chapter to go. This month, it is two years since ownership of my books was returned. I hope to finish edits, this month. Carol Fiorillo, the cover artist, will be making sure the cover fits the requirements, and I will be making sure the formatting is correct. Hopefully, the book will be available this month or July. What an adventure.

Sunday Scripture

Ruth 2:7

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

Favorite Book Friday

Chance for Home (Chance 2) by Traci Hunter Abramson Inspirational romance. In one scene, the main couple visit a restaurant, in Phoenix, where the entire staff dressed in costumes and stayed in character. I was transported back decades to Bobby McGee's. Taking a trip down memory lane, I discovered it is now Bobby Q. I may have to go sometime, for fun. I love the characters and the story.

Tuesday Tidbit

A chapter and a half left to edit. Being a caregiver has changed my writing time. I'm endeavoring to remember that God created times and seasons. Right now is my season to be a caregiver. I'm not giving up on my writing, but I'm also working hard to give it to God. Being a survivor, I value being in control. God's teaching me to give control to Him.

Memorial Day

All gave some. Some gave all.
It is on this day that we remember those who gave all.
May God bless their family and friends.

Favorite Book Friday

Chances Are (Chance 1) by Traci Hunter Abramson Inspirational romance. Another marriage of convenience, and I loved it. I must admit that in interest in particular storylines is greatly influenced by the storyteller.
