Tuesday Tidbit

Perhaps my biggest stumbling block is trying to make the story as good as possible. Unfortunately, it doesn't take much to morph into trying to make the story as perfect as possible. Perfect becomes an insurmountable brick wall with no way over, around, or under. Perfection belongs to God. I must step back and remind myself that God is only asking for my best, which means flaws will be present but the story will still be beautiful and acceptable to Him.

Tuesday Tidbit

I've spent a week reworking a single page. I think it's done, and I see something else that needs to be changed. Sentences have been switched around, re-arranged, re-written, but I think it's done now. Onward.

Love and Roses (The Abundance series book 3) by Sally Bayless contemporary Christian romance. This had two romances in it, the stories intertwined. A fun bonus. I'm looking forward to reading the only book in the series I haven't read yet.

Love Once More (The Abundance series book 4) by Sally Bayless contemporary Christian romance. Another two-for, two romance stories intertwined. Loved it. An enjoyable series.

Monday Quote

And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year: "Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown." And he replied: "Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way." ~ M.L. Haskins
