Work on the last chapter continues. I think it's done. I re-read it, and something is jarring, so I try again, re-write, shuffle. Frustrating.
Christian stories of broken souls finding God and romance Jesus never promised a life of sweetness and nice; He promises hope. The weakest flame is stronger than the dark.

Monday Quote
"Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men! Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks! Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle. But you shall be a miracle. Every day you shall wonder at yourself, at the richness of life which has come to you by the grace of God." ~ Phillips Brooks

Chocolate Cake Day
Celebrate with a story.
Chocolate Cake for Two
The second novella in the series.
Welcome back to Holiday, USA, small town America, where nothing happens,
except holidays... and maybe a little romance, if the hero and heroine
trust God.
Freed, after being wrongly imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit,
Henry Weaver needs a fresh start. The "Help Wanted" sign in the cupcake
shop window couldn't possibly be the answer to his prayer.
Holiday Sweets, a specialty cupcake shop, is Annie Sweet's heritage.
Everything would be perfect if only she could find competent help. An
ultimatum demands Annie make a painful decision.
Choosing God is rarely the easy way, and sometimes the way to Happily Ever After appears impossible...

All four novellas published in 2014 are available in their entirety in paperback, including the covers on the back, for those who enjoy collecting a series.

Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Live isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to be lived.
Sometimes happy, other times rough...
But every up and down you learn lessons that make you strong.

Favorite Book Friday
Eternity (The Friendship Series Book 1) by Staci Stallings Christian romance. Loved it.
The Easy Way Out (The Friendship Series Book 2) by Staci Stallings Christian romance. Staci is one of my favorite storytellers. I only wish I could buy all her books in paperback. They're all keepers.
