Yesterday, my sister and I attended the Renaissance Fair. We enjoyed the music of Tartanic Bagpipe and Drums and Cast in Bronze. We enjoyed crepes for lunch, our annual tradition. We decided to head home, and the blustery day turned to sprinkles. The rain increased in intensity as we made our way to her car. We slid inside, laughing, as the sky opened up in a downpour. I was still wet when I arrived home forty-five minutes later and my cloak was still wet two hours later. We had a great time.
Sometimes, it's important to step away from everything and simply be in the moment.
