A horrific day. Jesus endured suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane, an unjust trial, beating, flogging, a crown of thorns, a grueling walk carrying the cross, and then crucifixion. He died for each and every person who ever lived or ever would live. The choice is ours to accept the gift. He was laid in a tomb. The world descends into and is shrouded in darkness. If Jesus had stayed dead, it would have been bad.
Sunday is coming.
