The Forgotten King (The Forgotten King series Book 1) by Vibeke Hiatt YA Arthurian Myths and Legends. I haven't read King Arthur, but this story reminds me of other Quest stories I've read, The Lord of the Rings, The Sword of Shannara, Chronicles of Narnia, with a little flavor of Pilgrim's Progress.
