A couple of days ago, my sister had an interesting post on indiviuation.

She talks about how Christ, raised from the dead to perfection, chose to keep the scars on his hands and feet, clear signs of who He is.

She also mentioned flawless diamonds aren't actually flawless. It reminded me of something I'd learned when studying diamonds. Though flawless diamonds are considered of higher value, flawed diamonds are considered more beautiful because there are additional facets to reflect light.
