My editor sent me an email reminding me my book was due. I had it on my calendar for a month later. Ack!! Fortunately, I had it mostly ready. I finished it, and sent it off. Whew. Here's the impressive part: I didn't beat myself up over thinking it was a different date. I corrected it, and moved on.
